This "Flower Bench," designed by SANAA and manufactured by Vitra, was purchased in Denmark.
SANAA is a Japanese architectural unit formed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, highly acclaimed internationally for their work on museums and public buildings both in Japan and abroad.
Their designs are characterized by light and organic forms born from an architectural perspective, and this bench strongly reflects that sensibility.
The unique, petal-like shape that extends in three directions changes its expression depending on the viewing angle, creating a presence more akin to an objet d'art placed in a space than merely a bench.
