A vintage open bookshelf from the 1960s-70s, purchased from Denmark.
The label on the back confirms it was made by Hjørnebo Møbelfabrik Horsens in Denmark.
The bright, warm grain of the oak wood is striking, and its simple box-shaped form combined with sleek, tapered legs creates a charming Scandinavian vintage look.
The interior features two open shelves.
It's a convenient size for storing books and magazines, as well as for displaying ceramics, glass objects, plants, and more.
While it has ample width, its relatively shallow depth makes it easy to incorporate into living rooms, bedrooms, studies, entryways, etc., without making the space feel cramped.
The soft color of the oak wood blends well not only with Scandinavian modern interiors but also with natural, mid-century, and vintage-mixed spaces.
It is a recommended piece as a small bookcase or as storage furniture beside a bed or sofa.
