This is a vintage bookshelf designed by Poul M. Volther from FDB Møbler, purchased from Denmark.
FDB Møbler, a furniture manufacturer representing Danish design from the 1950s to 1960s, created many masterpieces based on the philosophy of "good quality furniture for more people."
Poul M. Volther succeeded Børge Mogensen as the design manager of FDB Møbler and left behind numerous works that combine functionality and beauty.
This is a highly practical model that combines open shelves and storage.
The slender frame and light form do not create a sense of oppression, and the use of teak wood with beautiful grain for the back panel brings warmth to the space.
The lower part is equipped with two drawers and open storage, accommodating not only books and miscellaneous goods but also AV equipment and daily necessities. It is a well-balanced design that allows you to enjoy both display and storage in one unit.
