How to Install a Ceiling Lamp
1. Bulb Size
Most of the lighting fixtures handled by our store can use LED bulbs, with some exceptions.
There are primarily four sizes of bulb bases.
・E12 up to 40w
・E14 up to 40w
・E17 up to 40w
・E26 up to 60w
* Bulb base sizes are expressed as "E" + "number" (e.g., E26), where the number indicates the diameter of the base.
* In Japan, E26, E17, and E12 are common (E26 is particularly widely used), while E14 is a size frequently used in Europe and other regions.

What are Hook-on Ceiling Receptacles and Rosettes?
They are the "base for installing ceiling lamps."
Difference between Hook-on Ceiling Receptacles and Rosettes
The difference lies in whether or not they have ear-like hangers (hooks) depending on the weight of the lighting fixture.
Types of Hook-on Ceiling Receptacles / Rosettes
・Hook-on Ceiling Receptacles – (For lighting fixtures up to 5 kg)
"Square Hook-on Ceiling Receptacle," "Round Hook-on Ceiling Receptacle," "Full Round Hook-on Ceiling Receptacle"
・Rosettes – (For lighting fixtures up to 10 kg)
"Full Hook-on Rosette," "Recessed Hook-on Rosette"
*To ensure safer use, we recommend lighting fixtures up to 3.5 kg for hanging from the ceiling with a "hook-on ceiling receptacle" and up to 7 kg with a "rosette."
3. Installation
Regarding the plugs on our lighting fixtures
The power plugs attached to our lighting fixtures are standard plugs for electrical outlets.
If you intend to suspend the fixture from the ceiling, you will need to change to a ceiling hook cap, except for method D (replacement available for an additional fee).
When drawing power from a power-outlet equipped ceiling rose
Method A
*Lighting fixture weight: up to 5kg
Attaches directly to the hook ceiling rose

Method B
* Lighting fixture weight - up to 10kg
Direct attachment to a hook rosette (if there is no hanger like a rosette, a hook will need to be installed elsewhere)

* If using a track light, a track light adapter plug (sold separately) will be required.
Method C
*Lighting fixture weight: up to 5kg
Attaches directly to the rail using a track light system.

Method D
*Light fixture weight: up to 5kg
Installation by hanging the fixture from a rail hook (sold separately) on a track rail

*Please note that the load capacity differs for temporary track rails not secured to the ceiling with screws, etc., and track rails secured to the ceiling. Please read the usage precautions for your track rail carefully and use it according to the instructions in the manual.
4. Notes
・Lighting fixtures weighing 10 kg or more cannot be installed on the ceiling.
・If you are unsure of the weight capacity, please refrain from installing the lighting fixture on the ceiling, as there is a risk of it falling.
※If installation is still necessary, please consult a building contractor or similar professional.
