This is a wardrobe, similar to what is known as a "tansu" in Japan, which we procured in France.
The white paint has come off nicely, showing a shabby aged patina, and you can feel the charm unique to European vintage throughout, such as the spherical orange handle and the orange line on the top board painted to match the handle.
Opening the front door reveals a large storage space inside, with parts for hanging poles on both sides and parts for installing shelves in four sections.
In these photos, we've shown it being used for clothes storage with a pole, but we also recommend using it as a display shelf by having wood boards cut to size at a home center.
Folding clothes and decorating with objets d'art would surely create a stylish atmosphere.
Furthermore, there are drawers in the lower section, allowing you to store a considerable amount of items in this single piece.
The full-length mirror on the front door is also a convenient size, making this a masterpiece that can be used in a wide range of ways, from your home to store fixtures, depending on your ingenuity.
